We all have or know a small person who’d look super cute in this wee bundle of retro yumminess. I make hardwearing, cloth nappy fitting, comfortable, groovy toddler clothes and bibs with high quality retro fabric or upcycled deliciousness. So each piece i make is unique. These are gender non-specific (i think!) and easy to wash and wear. It is my pleasure to offer this bundle to you.
Three GrowMama bibs: retro cotton backed with new flannel.
Groovy wide leg trousers: new corduroy with vintage trim on cuffs and pockets. Size One, but my boy wore his as three quarter pants into spring.

I'd love these goodies for my little man! I like reading blogs to get inspiration for sewing and quilting projects, and I like blogging to keep my friends and family that live far away updated on our family.
ReplyDeleteLove the bibs! Blogging and reading blogs to me means sharing and inspiring each other!!:)
ReplyDeleteI love the retro look! Thanks for sharing and enjoy giveaway day!
ReplyDeleteBlogging is a way I can share what has inspired me from other blogs and where I can inspire others.
ReplyDeleteI like writing blog because I can share the world my passion and hopefully inspire readers by doing so :)...I love reading blogs to be inspired and awed :)
ReplyDeleteBlogs give me a break and a little bit of contact with the outside world so I don't feel alone as a stay at home mom:) Lovely prizes!! Thanks!
ReplyDeletechristinbanda at yahoo dot com
so cute! I'd give them to my soon to turn one nephew. And the dish towel would be perfect for my sink. For me, blogging is a way to reach out to the world. I'm a momma of three, five and under, and some days the only adult contact I get is through the internet! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI made most of my Christmas gifts this year. All of the patterns were from tutorials on blogs. I love the open/sharing spirit of blogs!
ReplyDeleteI like reading blogs for the wonderful information about everything plus tutorials, recipes, you name it.
ReplyDeleteI love reading snippets of other peoples lives. I guess you'd call it nosey...but it is neat to cry with them and laugh with them as you read and really feel like you know someone even though you may never have met them. I also love blogs for tutorials and inspiration! :)
ReplyDeleteYour prizes are great! I love reading blogs to feel a connection to the outside world. I'm a stay at home mom and sometimes need a quick adult "fix" and head on over to some blogs. It's also great to realize (as you said) that there are others out there like me as well. :) I enjoy keeping a blog to share picutres and stories with relatives and friends out of state.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!

I have learned so much from blogs. In August I was inspired to purchase a sewing machine and I'm hooked! I've made yummy meals/treats, sewed some beautiful toys and decorations, and have been lucky enough to pass some of it forward (http://www.doonenicething.com/). I've also won several wonderful items from giveaways, it's like Christmas when the FedEx man rings our doorbell!
ReplyDeleteshannoncarman at yahoo dot com
Beautiful and generous! Thanks so much for the chance to win! I began my blog in February and had no idea the world wide community that I would be joining! I get inspired and supported by people that I've never met--daily. I think it's a great way for us crafty mamas to band together and chance the world!
ReplyDeleteSometimes when the day seems boring, or tiring, or crazy, or just plain crummy, it's so nice to sit down and read about someone else's day ... like stepping out of your own life for a moment, or relating to someone else you don't even know. And then, of course, there's the fact that blogs are the reason my corkboard is full of ideas and inspiration!
ReplyDeleteMy sons are very eco conscious and try and raise their children the same
ReplyDeletewould be very useful for my grandsons
Blogging means no end of ideas for creating! And bravo to you for making cloth diaper friendly clothes! My son was nearly 11 pounds and 24 inches at birth, and 30 pounds by six months, and by the time he had his fluffy bum on, I had to buy clothes that were HUGE!
ReplyDeleteMy family is scattered across the country, so I started a blog so that they could keep up with what we are doing. It's so hard to be away from your family, especially when you have small children that you want them to know. blogging (although I'm not very good and sometimes it's hard to keep up) was my way of introducing my kids to the family and letting them into our lives through not only words, but pictures too!
ReplyDeletePlus, I love reading them to get ideas. Anything from creating craft projects, things to do with my kids and cooking. Plus, sometimes it's nice to see people, just like you, going crazy in their own home!
My grandson would look so cute in those pants!
ReplyDeleteI love connecting with other crafters. Love your giveaway. Very sweet!
ReplyDeletei love everything you make! especially your choice of vintage fabrics! great finds...
ReplyDeletei love blogging because it is a creative outlet for me as a mom of four little ones... and i love connecting with other women around the world with similar interests and passions..
thanks!

The bibs are AWESOME! I run a daycare out of my home and they would work so much better than store bought ones!
ReplyDeleteI love reading others blogs...it makes me feel like I'm not the only crazy, busy, frustrated, loved mom out there!
So cute!! I love the blogging world and I love to see what peopel make because it inspires me to bring out my crafty side!! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteI started a blog this year, and I am overwhelmed by the feedback people give. It makes me want to create more often. My favorite part however, is hosting giveaways so that I can share. I've always got a feeling from giving.
ReplyDeleteThanks!

I love looking at craft blogs - they're such a source of inspiration (and yes, they make me a little jealous sometimes). And since I'm an at-home mom, they are a pleasant link to other mamas out there and their crafty pursuits. I'm so happy that I've found your blog through SMS, and I'd love to win your great gifts!
ReplyDeleteI love to get inspired by blogs and also to talk with people in other countries
ReplyDeleteBlogs are great for letting family keep up with the growing kids and sharing funny happenings around the house. I love reading other blogs to get tips and ideas for making my home more beautiful and efficient. It is fun to have some sort of bond with those other moms out there who are experiencing the same things that I am.
ReplyDeleteYour clothes and bibs are soooo cute! I have a little boy who just turned 1 in November, and I would love to win this stuff for him. Also, the towel is very pretty and convenient. Love your fabrics!
Thanks for the chance to win such gorgeous and useful handmade stuff! :)
Wonderful! What do blogs mean to me? Since becoming a mom 5 years ago, I find writing my blog keeps me motivated to stay productive and make things. And reading them lets me know that I'm not alone in either my creative or parental endeavors. There you go!
ReplyDeleteBlogs mean inspiration and validation to me. My own blog means a lot to me, showing that I create something each day.
ReplyDeletewww.manycrafts.blogspot.com
Blogs are where I go to see what other people are doing and to draw ideas from their posts. I love seeing other people's projects and color ideas and fabrics and yarns and everything.
ReplyDeleteI love reading blogs for inspiration. And boy, have I been inspired!! I am new to blogging as well. I just stumbled on all these blogs back in August, and I am hooked!
ReplyDeleteI am expecting my third baby so these bibs would be perfect to have for him or her (and it wouldnt' be a hand-me-down! :-)

Happy holidays!
These are so lovely! Reading blogs was initially the thing that first turned me on to sewing. Since then, it has become my main source of inspiration. I have met so many lovely people and come to know people that I've never even met in my life! I love it!
ReplyDeleteSarah @ http://comeandseetheseitz.com
I love your bibs - such great fabrics! Blogs have been a great source of inspiration for me. I love looking at all the things people are making - it really makes me feel connected to a broader community of people who create things. I don't really have many real life friends who sew or knit or anything, so it's nice to have that connection.
ReplyDeletecute bib. happy giveaway day! Here's mine http://www.simplymodernmom.com/2009/12/the-gift-box-a-giveaway/
ReplyDeleteBlogs are a source of inspiration to me. It is also a fun way to show off what I make, since my family lives so far away.
ReplyDeletei enjoy reading blogs because there is so much inspiration to be found. i wish i was good at creating my own blog - but 2 posts in 2 years is probably an indication that i need some help.
ReplyDeleteOh, I definitely know of two special little people who would love to wear something handmade by you!
ReplyDeleteI write my blog because it is a way to connect with other crafters. I have made several friends and although my blog has only 9 followers, I am thankful for each of my readers. It's nice to know that my work can inspire people.
Very cool giveaway! I blog to feel like a grown up...I'm home all day with a toddler and husband's a workaholic, so my blog time makes me feel sane and connected :) Thanks for the giveaway. alusco(at)centurytel(dot)net
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway. Writing my blog lets me express myself and my creativity. I love sharing my projects with other people and I love the input that I get from my readers.
ReplyDeleteI love reading blogs for inspiration and tutorials, but mainly because it connects me to other like-minded people. We are about to move to Arnhem Land (Northern Territory, AUS) - a very remote part of the world, and my blogging friends will be even more indispensible.
ReplyDeleteGreat bibs! I love posting on my blog just to feel connected. It's great!
ReplyDeleteWow, that towel was a blast from the past! My mom had a bunch....I'm sure they are long gone now, though.
ReplyDeleteI love reading blogs b/c it's a wonderful way to connect to other moms and share ideas and get reassurance that I am not the only one losing my mind!
These are lovely! I use blogs for inspiration and as an escape from my wonderfully hectic life.
ReplyDeleteI love these and would love to have them for my new little one due in June. I love the retro style.
ReplyDeleteI love reading and writing blogs because they are a look to the outside, adult world that my toddler-bound life does not usually permit. I feel connected to others like me and a sense of calm for some reason. It is nice.
Blogging even if no one reads it gives me a sense that my thoughts count.
ReplyDeleteI love the bibs... so cute!

I would love to win your cool gifts, either to my own 1 year old, or my nephew. Blogging is very rewarding - i'm not so good at writing yet - mostly everyday anecdotes, but i enjoy reading other blogs to get inspiration for hobbies, decorating or even family life events. Some bloggers are very good writers, often when they describe important happenings in their lives - and these blogs touch me the deepest.
ReplyDeleteso adorable, I need a baby for all this cuteness. But my nephew and niece will suffice :)
ReplyDeleteYou can contact me via www.crackpotshop.com
thanks for your generosity!
Very nice! I like the colors!! I love looking at the blogs! IT gives me great ideas!
ReplyDeleteBlogs have also just recently become a part of my life - I have my own personal blog to keep our parents on the opposite ends of the country (and other family) up to date on the doings of my 1 year old daughter - and also as a form of digital journaling/scrapbooking. I read friends and family's blog for the same reason - and I love getting inspired by craft blogs.
ReplyDeleteI love reading blogs because it helps me feel connected in a life that is often lacking connections. We've moved a lot in the last couple of years, searching for a good job as a young family, and as we've made new friends and left behind old ones, all my blogs still stay the same. I add new ones all the time, but the fact that my blog friends stay constant help me stay connected in this world.
ReplyDeleteso cute! I'm so interested in your blog. i'm working on developing my creativity as well. my little guy has me inspired!
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable! :) To me, blogs keep me connected to the outside world and other mommies, on days when I sometimes don't even hear another adult voice. I also find a lot of inspiration on blogs that keeps me motivated in so many areas of life! Thanks for the great giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteYay! Boy-friendly giveaway items! so cute.
ReplyDeleteI read blogs to get out of my living room in some way during the day. They're a source of inspiration, instruction, and laughter. I write, mostly to sort out thoughts or share with my small blog-family.
I am addicted to reading blogs.
ReplyDeleteI love being inspired by the funny, wise, insightful, creative and crazy people who have opened their cyber-door to me and everyone out there. It requires a certain confidence and ability to close ones eyes and jump in with both feet - happy no matter what you may land in- something that I truly admire and hope to cultivate in myself. Plus, it's a great excuse to avoid the dishes or laundry for just a few more minutes. It is where I get my creative rush since I seem to be too tired with my wee littlest one to create my own these days. It is where keeping up with the Joneses doesn't mean spending money, but making time to appreciate my family and the little things that make every day precious, having fun, nurturing my creativity and myself.
I keep meaning to start a blog - I've actually set one up in the most basic sense, but I need to find the time to actually transform it into a mirror of my own little take on life and the world. It is daunting and a little scary to lay myself out for all the world to see and comment about. So I really adore those of you brave enough to do so!
I love reading other blogs--I'm always amazed by the number of talented people out there. What did people do before the internet and blogging?! Reading blogs also inspires me to try new things and keeps my to-do list nice and long!
ReplyDeleteReading (and writing) blogs gives me a connection with like-minded mamas.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing giveaway package! I love that your pants fit big bootied cloth diaper wearing babies.
ReplyDeleteI am the mama of a 14 month old little girl and I started blogging (after years of following a long list of craft blogs) when she was 6 months old as a way of reconnecting with my creative self. My initial intent was to create a space where I could share my crafty projects and hold myself accountable to opening an etsy shop which I had been dreaming about for awhile. What I found was a great way to express my creative experiences, share what inspires me and even connect with a community of amazing and supportive people. And I finally opened up that shop last month!
Transitioning into motherhood felt natural but is hard at times. I thought that I had to turn my back on my creative side in order to focus on parenting. 8 months later I have realized that I don't have to compartmentalize those parts of me. Creativity and motherhood are forever intertwined.
thanks for sharing

Thanks for the giveaway! My little guy would look so cute in those pants.
ReplyDeleteI read blogs for inspiration and entertainment! Also, I read tons of blogs that help me learn how to sew and quilt.
Those pants are fabulous! This giveaway would make a great gift for my best friend, who's pregnant and due in January. Don't know yet whether it's a boy or a girl, so I'm seeking something unisex and lovely as a gift. Blogs have really helped me make friends. In fact, the above-mentioned friend is someone I originally met through our blogs :-)
ReplyDeletethese are so so great! seriously, i am so hoping my little guy can win these! yay for crafting something for little boys since usually it's all for girls! so nice to hear your story - mine is similar, except i am here in michigan.
ReplyDeleteThese bibs are great!
ReplyDeleteI blog to keep connected. I released a son for adoption and it a great way to share the things I get from his parents. I love reading them because they keep me inspired.
I write a blog, but I think I like reading them more. It started out as a way to keep sane when I was a new mom and now I do it because I love what's out there.
ReplyDeleteohh-- I love the patterns!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading others' blogs and getting peeks into other lives and places that I wouldn't be able to access at this time in my work two jobs and be a mama to two little ones life. I enjoy getting ideas and inspiration for my own projects for my little ladies. I also so appreciate reading/seeing others' experiences and thoughts about parenting and journeying with their little ones. I am really grateful that there are people out there who are wiling to talk about both their amazing moments and the lows that come with being a parent. It reminds me that this learning is lifelong and complex. Thanks! meg
These are gorgeous! I love to read blogs to get inspiration, and I blog so my family 3000 miles away can keep up with my life :)
ReplyDeleteBlogs are a source of inspiration! Love your giveaway and love your blog!!
ReplyDeleteYour prizes are totally art! I love them.
ReplyDeleteWhat blogging means for me--well, the blogs I read are a source of inspiration, community, and love. I am not a social person and it's hard for me to make friends in a new place, especially since I am an academic and most of my colleagues are not raising small children. The blogosphere gives me a sense of home, of recognizing someone like me out there.
great giveaway !
ReplyDeleteBlogs are for me a source of inspiration, and a sharing community...
Oh wow, love all those fabrics.
ReplyDeleteBlogs have been such an inspiration to me - in the last year I have taught myself to sew, knit and make clothes for my family from thrifted things. They make me smile, laugh and think when I read about people's lives, dreams and successes. There have been a few times when I've been in tears too - not even knowing a person but feeling their pain and sadness - what's more human than that?
And as for my own it's been a place to show off my modest makings and to vent a bit of the madness in my head!
blogs = inspiration. i love looking at the pictures, tutorials, and getting cool ideas on things to make based on what others are doing. i am so not original! but i love trying to make something based on what someone else has done!!
ReplyDeleteWriting a blog helps me count my blessings.
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing! you're very talented! Blogs are a great way to connect to other women while being a stay at home mom! thanks!
ReplyDeleteThose are SO cute!!! I love those fabrics. I blog because I like having a place to "store" all my pictures and thoughts about my projects. And it's a HUGE bonus when I get comments and input from other sewists!
ReplyDeleteI've been blogging for 3 months now and only 3 months ago did I discover that there were "crafty" blogs out there. My uninformed self seriously thought that blogging was reserved for folks with a political agenda...I found out otherwise while Googling a pattern for a fleece octopus and I'm so happy to have found this community of people who have a passion for creating and sharing. Your fabrics, by the way, are lovely and everything I've seen on your blog oooze loveliness as well. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! I love it all! I'm so amazed by all the projects I have come across on blogs. I'm happily overwhelmed by all the crafts and tutorials, and I have a huge list of all the things I want to try to do myself!
ReplyDeletethese are such great thing for the giveaway!!! thanks for the chance. thanks for coming to my blog and entering the giveaway. good luck. i love your blog
ReplyDeleteOur blog is often my link to the outside, adult world. It is also a great way for me to connect with family and friends.
ReplyDeletea_heart4home(at)yahoo(dot)com
My friends baby would look so cute in these. Thanks for a great giveaway. ladycolmn@aol.com
ReplyDeleteWhat cute retro stuff. I love reading blogs because it keeps me connected and inspired.
ReplyDeleteblogs keep me sane by letting me see the world outside my small home more regularly than I do in person.
ReplyDeletei really want to win, my son who is 6 months would be adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love the towel. Blogs inspire me, people are so darn creative :) Thank you for the chance to win! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas. -dez

I love the clothes- so nice to dress a little one in something original and repurposed! I am to be a granny soon(20th Dec due date) for the first time! My daughter would love these for her baby. She and her husband have been given/ freecycled or thrifted nearly every thing for the new arrival, don't you just love not having to spend very much!!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I love reading blogs for inspiration and the adult connection as a new mom, and I also love to show off my stuff by blogging too
ReplyDeletei love reading blogs - not only for inspiration(there are some seriously talented people out there) but for the insight into their lives
ReplyDeletegill
I so feel the need for cloth diaper fitting clothes - getting jeans over her squishy little bum is hard - I'm going to have to check out your stuff. Thanks
ReplyDeleteWow, the kitchen towel is adorable!
ReplyDeleteFor me, blogs (reading and writing) are a way to connect with like minded people in the absence of those around me. They are a way to inspire and be inspired. To encourage and be encouraged. And they are a way for me to pass the day while I'm at work and hardly have anything to do (you wanted me to be honest right?).
shannon.mangerchine(at)gmail(dot)com
I have to say, for me reading blogs inspires my own creativity and motivates me to work on my current projects.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway. Blogging is a little part of me creating sanity and space for myself while raising 3 munchkins.
ReplyDeleteI love writing on my blog because it is a great outlet for me to get all the craftyness!!!
ReplyDeleteI read some homeschool and crafty blogs. BTW such cute stuff.
ReplyDeleteI started blogging as a way to vent my frustrations, share my happy moments and open up part of my life to those that don't know me. While work has been busy and I haven't posted as much as I should, I take pleasure in reading other blogs for new information, mommy tales, crafty ideas, recipes or whatever I happen to find. Of course, I love finding out about new products, and never even heard of many of them before blogging. And entering giveaways has been fun too, I've met some wonderful new bloggy friends all over the world-which is the most rewarding gift of them all.
ReplyDeletemicaela6955 at msn dot com
lovely giveaway items! reading/updating my blogs is my quiet peaceful time, when the kids are at school/taking naps and the house is quiet. then i slip into serenity and into blogland. I love it!
ReplyDeleteplease check out my giveaway http://crissybell.blogspot.com
cute cute stuff!!!
ReplyDeleteThis stuff is adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteI read blogs to be inspired and informed. I find that I'd rather read a blog about news than the news itself, because I like the commentary and the fresh take on it. This goes double for crafting sites! I get SO many wonderful, inspiring ideas!
I read blogs (especially crafty blogs) because everyone has such great ideas for wonderful projects! I appreciate everyone's willingness to share their work and the kindness and generosity of people in the blogging world. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely! Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteBlogging has really made me feel connected to adults while being home with my kids.
These are absolutely adorable retro baby items. You are inspiring me to sew me boy some pants!!
ReplyDeleteBlogs mean much to me. Can I be succinct? I think that reading blogs is, for me, about inspiration and camaraderie. Writing my blog is about becoming motivated to do the happy and healthful things I need and want, having a good cry when I need, and finding and celebrating like souls.
ammieloris at hotmail dot com
Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI read blogs to reassure myself that there are other people in the world who share my dreams even if they do not share my neighbourhood.
Fun fabrics, so cute. Thanks for a lovely giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI have been blogging for seven and half months. It has really enriched my life. I never thought I would get so much out of it. I have made so many friends with people from other blogs. I learn so much from them. I have found so much inspiration from other blogs, I enjoy giving back and sharing tips and things I know with them through my blog. I feel I am making a contribution. It also gives me a place to showcase my work, a grown up show-and-tell. It encourages me to keep creating knowing others are interested and will be looking. It provides accountability because I do not want to disappoint.
ReplyDeleteAnother reason I enjoy it so much is because it is something that I am sharing with my 9 year old daughter. We help each other with our blogs. She has her own sewing blog. Because of blogging, it has caused me to think more creatively and therefore look for more opportunities to spend time with my children creating with them and then we can show off our work together to the world. So it has brought our family closer and provided a creative outlet for me at the same time. It's a win-win situation.
Thank you for this wonderful giveaway. Thank you for the opportunity to win.
I am also having a giveaway; so be sure and stop by my blogs. I have two, one for sewing and one for art. www.sewingwithtrudy.blogspot.com and www.artisticcreationswithtrudy.blogspot.com

ReplyDeletereading blogs provies me with an unlimited amount of inspirations. I write blogs to chronical my life with my children, crafting, cooking, and teaching.
ReplyDeleteHi Anissa, sorry I messed up on my comment so had to delete it, it was rubbish, I think I need a nice cup of tea and then I'll start again.....
ReplyDeleteOh those bibs are gorgeous, I would love to win them for my scrumptious grandson, Sam, who has Down's and is just self-feeding, a bit messy to say the least!!
I got into blogging after entering one of Amy's (Park City Girl) online quilt shows and my blog has introduced me to a world of wonderful, generous and talented people and not just with their craft skills but also with a peep into their lives. It's great to share ideas, show off and also commiserate! I live in a rural part of UK and would never "meet" all these lovely people in any other circumstances.
My blog's at www.shiny4444.blogspot.com and I would love you to pop in sometime.
Happy Christmas to you and yours (love your beach!) and I'll be back to see what you're up to whether I'm lucky enough to win or not. Thanks for giving me the chance and it's been lovely to see what you're doing there in NZ.
Hugs, Lis x
i love the blogs: grosgrain, fish sticks, ikat bag and sewmama sew, works in progress
ReplyDeleteand there are so much more!
i love other peoples sewing blogs!

Absolutely adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteReading blogs is a way to connect to someone else's life - if I don't know the person, it gives me a glimpse into their... if I do, it keeps me in touch with a friend!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I have a new son. Well he is 8 months old and I like reading crafty blogs so i can get ideas of fun stuff to make for him. I want him to have lots of thing his Mommy has made for him. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI love writing and reading blogs. I love the free exchanging of ideas that goes on in craft blogs, people give so generously of themselves in so many ways and are willing to share their knowledge and skills. I think it's so important in a world where everything has a price, for there to be a whole community of people who say "lets just share, swap and give, shall we"
ReplyDeleteWhen the picture popped up of the bib and pants I got so excited! How adorable! I love to write on my blog because I get to share with a kind of openness that maybe I wouldn't usually get to. And I love to read and look other blogs to get fun ideas and see what everyone is up to. I don't know what I did before blogland! Thanks for this adorable giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love reading all kinds of blogs. I love the creativity and inspiration. I think I love most the little peek you get into someone else's world. It brings a little perspective to you own life.
ReplyDeleteI love the bibs. We will be welcoming three more babies into our family within the next 6 months and these would be well loved and used.
Thanks for the giveaway.
Blogs are a great way to meet creative people from all over the place that you wouldn't normally get to.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win.

ReplyDeleteBlogs are fun, and a great place to get new ideas. So nice to come home after work and see what fun things everyone has been up to while I was away.
I love reading blogs, it's a great way to connect with people.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading blogs as well, fair warning though - it can become addiciting. Thanks for the chance
ReplyDeleteLove your stuff!! My little babe is 7 mos old...those pants are definately up his alley. I just found your blog via the giveaway page, and am so excited I did. Can't wait to read through your archives. Everytime I stumble upon a new blog written by a like-minded soul out there in this huge society of ours..I am reminded that what I'm doing (for me, for my child, for the world, etc) is validated in such an affirming way by what so many others are doing as well. Does that make sense? Anyway, thanks for the opportunity and happy holidays to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteAmazing stuff you have created! My little guy would look way cooler than he usually does in those bibs. He'd leave his much hipper cousin in the dust! :) (Just kidding, Aunt Jax.) Blogs...I just started blogging after a move earlier this year and it really has given a sense of community to my group of friends who are also stay-at-home moms, striving to focus on their families (which requires being home a lot) without feeling isolated.
ReplyDeleteBlogs bring me... laughter at funny stories, delight in amazing art, opportunities to learn new crafts, awe-inspiring journeys/people like Stephanie Nielson of the NieNie Dialogues, delicious recipes, exquisite photographs, the connection of shared ideas and spirits, beauty, and joy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute set! I enjoy reading blogs... they are so inspiring and have that personal touch you can't get from buying clothes at the mall :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway!
I love reading crafty blogs and photography blogs! They give me inspiration and ideas. As far as being a blog author, I really thought about WHY I blog a few months back. I decided I wanted to blog for bliss. Not let it become a burden. Taking a blog break every once in a while. Blog about my passions, share them with others who love the same things.

blogs mean community and expression to me. I also learn so much - by reading and writing!
ReplyDeleteBlog are a wonderful way of being connected and finding kindred souls, also they give voice to everyone, a very democratic notion. I love blogs and cannot even remember how we did it before blog-o-land, which was not too long ago at all, but somehow, this innovation managed to influence our daily lives a great deal.
ReplyDeleteI have 4 little men that would love your retro wear. Thanks for the chance to win it!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered blogging (knew about but never really read one) a friend kept referring me to a couple of blogs she reads. I got hooked. I love the ideas I get from them and for a stay at home mom with little ones it is so easy to loose yourself and the feeling of being alone can be so heavy. Reading blogs is a great way (at least so far) to feel connected.
I love to read and see what people are crafting. There are so many lovely creative people out there and it's nice to read their stories and lives. I hope to be a blogger soon. : )
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. Lovely designs.

Love your work! My grandkids will certainly be decked out in finery! I read blogs....ALOT of blogs! I love to read; I love being inspired by other people's creative eye since mine isn't so inspiring; I love to see that there are others in the world going through the same things I have or am going through....can share in spirit if not in presence....a place where I am not judged by outward appearances but by what is in my mind and soul...
ReplyDeleteNice vintage flair. I like it.
ReplyDeleteI love these! Blogs to me are a way of connecting with friends around the world, and of sharing in others creative geniuses (and borrowing their ideas!). Thanks for posting! I hope I'm in time :)
