The Dragon Hunters

Jed was gifted a beautiful book yesterday. (Thank you Nat, Kupe and Gala!) On the inside leaf it said 'To Jed, May you dream of dragons!'
The author had a stall in the inner city marketplace cafĂ© we were having brunch at with old friends. I read the book in between the vegetarian tortilla and the coffee. It had me on the first page. Great rhyming story by James Russell with incredible illustrations by Link Choi. This is clearly a man who understands small children.
I got chatting with James and he is truly the nicest man. This is Book One of the Dragon Brothers Trilogy, with book number two to be on the shelves soon.
And no, this is not a sponsored post, I just loved the book and was touched to see James out on a family Sunday with his stall. If you need any birthday present ideas or your home library needs some good quality kid literature that they'll want read again and again. The Dragon Brothers is it.

James' Dragon Brothers website is HERE.
And there's a colouring competition to win a copy on the Dragon Brothers facebook page HERE.
