Piha Labour Day Market

There are a few events we look forward to every year. The Titirangi Steiner Advent Fair and the Piha Labour Day Market.
The folks at the Piha Community PreSchool put on a fabulous market as a fundraiser. It's always a lovely time. They have a kids activity area, beautiful food designed by local chefs, handmade, secondhand, art, vintage, white elephant...all sorts of good old fashioned fun to be had.
And of course, the venue really makes it. Any excuse to go out to Piha, (or any of our West Coast beaches) is a good one! The market is held in and around Barnett Hall in North Piha, right on the beach.
Jed and I are sharing a stall in the Hall again. Our usual spot for those who've been to see us before! And we have good friends at the next door stall, which is always fun. I am selling off the last of the GrowMama market stock, caped towels and a big lot of wonderful vintage and otherwise fabulous clothes. Jed has sorted through some of his gear and has put together a great stall for kids. He is quite keen on making some money that boy. He has a plan.
I love these shared projects. And you better believe I'll be set up early and off looking around to see what wonderfulness is on offer!
